About Our Team

In 2021 we are celebrating our 35th year in business as a leading rigging and transportation provider

Harry Baker started Southwest Industrial Rigging in the mid-eighties with a single crane working in Casa Grande, Arizona. Over the following 35 years, the company continued to grow and eventually moved from Casa Grande, AZ to Phoenix, AZ.

We now have four locations in Arizona, including Flagstaff, Tucson, and two offices in Phoenix, AZ.

Thank you to our customers and our community for providing the support that has allowed us to give the Southwestern United States top-notch lifting and transportation services over the past 35 years and in the years to come.

Our employees take pride in their work and are highly skilled and trained for their crafts. The key to exceeding a client's expectations is to continuously provide talented work teams and equipment, successful turn-key solutions to challenges, and eliminate the need for multiple vendors during a project's duration. What sets us apart from our competition is the diversity of our divisions and how well they work together to provide you with a solution that safely completes your project on time and budget. We measure our success by the success of our customers. Our supportive management team oversees the successful collaboration between our divisions in order for Southwest Industrial Rigging to continue to exceed our customer's expectations.

Our goal is to set the bar high for safe operations by striving to maintain and improve upon our operations with every project.

We enjoy an excellent reputation due in part to our safe practices, honesty with customers, and a focused project management team that allows us to meet your needs. We are a full-service operation with capabilities to handle your project from start to finish.

With 24/7 on-call service, we are also available to quickly respond to any unplanned emergencies.

Providing quality service to our customers is our top priority. We promise to provide our customers with the very best people and equipment to complete their projects safely.

Southwest Industrial Rigging considers safety to be the most important virtue of our company vision. As employees, it is our duty to know and adopt the safety rules, policies, and regulations that are adopted by federal law, as well as our founder, Harry Baker, and our customers. This goal can only be achieved through the support and commitment of each and every employee. We hold all of our employees responsible for the prevention of injury to any person on our job sites as well as loss of property caused by accidents.

We strive to create a work environment for our employees that motivates them to work safely and lookout for one another. This can only be achieved through a commitment to team-work and free-flowing communication between management and all employees.

Employee cooperation in the SWIR safety process is necessary for the continued success of our company, and it is our goal to provide an incident-free culture. We believe that safety and quality flow from the standards of our work ethic. Our owner and president, Harry Baker, and his dedication to a safe work environment helped to develop a basis for a strong safety culture at SWIR. The four key values at the heart of our projects are:

  1. Do the job safely, every time, no matter what.
  2. Pay attention to the details, and focus on the task at hand.
  3. Maintain a well-planned, clean, organized work area.
  4. Professionals never cut corners at the expense of safety and they never leave a job unfinished.
